Windshield & Auto Glass Replacement in Garland
A rock kicked up by a gravel truck on I-635, or a side window shattered in a parking lot. Either way the glass gets swapped properly and the camera gets aimed again.
(000) 000-0000 — cracked glass, start hereGlass Is Part of the Structure
Think of the windshield as a structural panel that happens to be clear. It stiffens the roof if the car rolls, braces the passenger airbag as it inflates and holds the camera that runs your lane and braking features. That is why replacement is not just pulling old glass and dropping in new. The pinch weld has to be cleaned and primed, the right urethane used and the cure respected before the car is moved. Side and back glass need clean channels, working regulators and good defroster connections. We handle all of it, and we calibrate the forward camera whenever the windshield changes.
What a Glass Replacement Includes Here
Whether it is a windshield, a door glass or a back window, these are the pieces of the job.
Correct glass for your options
We match the part to the car's heated, acoustic, rain-sensor or heads-up display features so nothing stops working.
Old urethane trimmed back
The old adhesive is cut down to a thin, clean base so the new bead bonds the way it should.
Pinch weld prep
Scratches or rust on the frame lip are treated and primed before the new glass goes in.
Even urethane bead
Adhesive is laid in a consistent bead that meets the manufacturer's spec for strength and airbag support.
Shattered door glass cleanup
Broken door glass leaves shards inside the door and across the seats. We vacuum it out and check the regulator and channels.
Rear window and defroster
Back glass is replaced with the defroster grid and antenna connections tested before the trim goes back on.
Moldings that seal
Moldings and seals are fitted so the glass does not whistle at speed or leak in a downpour.
Camera aimed after the swap
Vehicles with a windshield camera get it calibrated after replacement, with a scan to confirm the result.
Old Glass Out, New Glass In
- 01
Identify and order
We decode the VIN and check the glass for features like a camera bracket, rain sensor or heated wiper area. The right part gets sourced to match. If you have a glass claim, we help sort the coverage before work begins. You know what part is going in and what it costs.
- 02
Cut out, clean, set
Trim and wipers come off, the old windshield gets cut loose and the frame lip is cleaned and primed. New urethane is laid down and the glass is set with guides so it sits evenly. Moldings and cowl panels go back on. The car then sits while the adhesive reaches safe drive-away strength.
- 03
Aim the camera, test for leaks
If the windshield carries a camera, we run the calibration and a scan to confirm it reads properly. We water-test for leaks and listen for wind noise. Then we hand over the keys and explain any care steps for the first few days.
Why Garland Drivers Bring Us Their Glass
Glass tied to the collision job
If a crash broke the glass, it is replaced as part of the repair. One plan, one shop, one set of paperwork.
No warning light handed back
Calibration happens here as part of the job. You do not leave with new glass and a dash fault to chase down somewhere else.
Rock chips come with the commute
Gravel and debris on the George Bush Turnpike and I-30 crack a lot of windshields around here. We see it constantly and handle it the same organized way every time.
Glass Cracked, Chipped or Gone?
A crack across the driver's view can earn a ticket and weakens with every pothole. Get on the phone with us and we will sort out the right part and the claim.
